“When the student is ready, the teacher will follow”, says a Buddhist proverb. My teachers, mentors, and lessons come in many forms, and often surprise me. In 2003 I heard the lyrics to a song that made me realize that I wanted much more than I was allowing myself to think about. This is when I knew I had to “… trust my instincts, close my eyes and leap.”* That’s the origin of gottaleap.
My perception began to shift. My expectations began to shift. I began to shift. I believe we all have great instincts about what our own truth is. New opportunities keep appearing, as do beautiful people along the way.
